Oakland Raiders are all in for Josh Jacobs to be NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year
The Oakland Raiders are making a strong case for running back Josh Jacobs to be the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year.
The team on Friday launched a webpage and #JacobsForORoy.
Of course, it’s full of statistics and accolades.
But there’s also room for fun.
Just ask fullback Alec Ingold, also known as “Chief of Interior Transportation.” He shares a 1-minute endorsement for his teammate.
“Hello, America. This is Alec Ingold. On the behalf of this great nation of ours, I’d like to talk you about a friend. His name is Josh. See, Josh likes to run the football. He’s really, really good at it. And he’s getting better. But the thing is, he’s just getting started. So voters, when it’s time to go to the polls, remember one for Offensive Rookie of the Year: Josh Jacobs. The choice of the nation. You can trust me, America. I’m a fullback.”
Just this week, Jacobs was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for November, making it back-to-back months for the Alabama product.
This season, Jacobs has 218 carries for 1,061 yards and seven touchdowns.
The Rookie of the Year will be announced at the NFL Honors on Super Bowl Eve, Feb. 1, in New Orleans.
