Where does TRAC rank in Fresno Bee Top 25 heading into conference football openers?

Many Central Section high school football teams had a bye last week, but a few games shook up The Bee’s Top 25 rankings.

Buchanan kept a lock on No. 1, rolling to a 45-14 victory over Edison. The Bears look to defend their Tri-River Athletic Conference championship starting Friday night against No. 12 Clovis West.

In a Top 25 matchup last week, Sanger beat Clovis East 21-14. Sanger moves up one spot to No. 14 while Clovis East falls one spot to No. 19.

Hanford moves up one spot to No. 7 after a 41-7 win over then-No. 20 Tulare Western.

The biggest jump in the rankings is by Lemoore, moving up five spots to No. 18 after a 39-0 victory over Porterville.

This week’s marquee matchups are in the TRAC including No. 10 Clovis at No. 3 Central, Buchanan-Clovis West at Veterans Memorial Stadium and Clovis East vs. No. 24 Clovis North at Lamonica Stadium.
