Bee’s Best prep football poll: Player of the Week for Week 5 is ...

Twelve high school football players in the Fresno area were nominated in The Fresno Bee’s Player of the Week poll for Week 5.

The poll closed at noon Saturday.

The winner is Cayden Muir of Hanford who finished with 7,019 votes (47%). Coming in second was Trent Calvert of Dos Palos who had 5,884 votes (40%).

Duran Delgado of Selma was third with 1,728 votes (12%).

Muir joins past winners Tanner Wilson of Sunnyside (Week 0), Beau Green of Madera (Week 1), Andrew Camarillo of Orosi (Week 2), Ah’marion Gaines-Smith of Central (Week 3) and Caleb Hall, Edison (Week 4).
