Bee’s Best: Vote for the prep football player of the week
Week 3 of Central Section high school football in the Fresno area once again had clutch performances and outstanding overall games.
Now, it’s up to you to pick the prep football player of the week for April 1-3.

The nominees
Aaron Blancas, Selma: Finished with three receptions for 177 yards and two touchdowns and had an 82-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the Bears’ 42-13 win over Kerman.
Jorge Gonzalez, Tulare Union: Completed 18 of 23 for 215 yards and five touchdowns in the Tribe’s 56-6 win over Mission Oak.
Calvin Ervin, Washington Union: He had 14 carries for 117 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers’ 24-13 win over Liberty-Madera Ranchos.
Jett Jackson, Kingsburg: Totaled four touchdown passes and an 18-yard scoring run in the Vikings’ 35-0 win over Dinuba. His TD passes went for 20, 39, 25 and 22 yards.
Anthony James, Hanford West: He helped the Huskies to a 28-26 win over Farmersville with an all-around game — 106 rushing yards and a touchdown and 95 receiving yards with a touchdown.
Tyler McCaulkin, San Joaquin Memorial: He had nine carries for 63 yards and a TD in a 40-7 win over Lemoore. He also had four tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles.
Alan Pelayo, Sanger: Had an 82-yard interception return for a touchdown in the Apaches;’ 14-6 win over Bullard.
Aidan Rodriguez, Orosi: Had four receptions for 123 yards and three touchdowns, helping the Cardinals to a 35-7 victory over Fowler.
Caden Rodgers, Buchanan: His 15-yard touchdown gave the Bears a 45-38 win over Clovis. Rodgers finished the game with nine carries for 61 yards and two touchdowns.
