Andrew Chavez of Clovis North is The Fresno Bee’s Player of the Week winner for Week 2.

Chavez finished with 86,684 votes (49%).

He had a touchdown run and an interception that helped the Broncos to a win over Redwood.

Rocky Arguijo of Porterville came in second with 70,088 votes (40%).

Third was Gus Remmlinger of Buchanan who tallied 5,114 votes (3%).

Chavez joins Jacob Rangel of San Joaquin Memorial (Week 1) as the other winner of The Bee poll.

Twenty-four players were nominated.

Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
