Bee’s Best: See the winner of The Bee’s Athlete of the Week for Nov. 22-27

Kenyah Stubbs of Hanford basketball is the winner of The Bee’s Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 22-27.

Stubbs picked up 40,438 votes (80%) to run away from the poll. Coming in second was Ashlyn Leath of Clovis North cross country who received 4,809 votes (10%).

Finishing third is Tyus Parrish of Clovis West basketball who picked up 3,040 votes (6%).

Seventeen athletes were nominated for The Bee’s Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 22-27.

The nominees were from basketball, cross country and soccer.

The poll closed at noon Saturday.

Past winners: Grace Van Der Kooi of Central Valley Christian volleyball, Katelyn Goforth of Kerman volleyball, Andrew Gray of Madera water polo, Krisalynn Turman of Caruthers volleyball, Margaret Arambula of Mission Oak volleyball, Kristen Landen of Clovis West volleyball, Gabby Russell of Clovis West volleyball, Goforth again, Marissa Mendrin of Kerman volleyball, Susie Phillips of Central Valley Christian golf, Gianna Mastro of Clovis West tennis, Evan Torres of Parlier cross country and Kaydence Cortez-Garcia of Clovis West soccer.
