There was one important thing that the Fresno State football team needed to do.

Fly to Boise, but this time the Bulldogs did it in grand fashion so to speak and needed to find a jet. Not that was ever a problem, but this time they wanted to do it with something catchy.

The Bulldogs boarded on the NFL’s New England Patriots plane something that Allie Banducci of Fresno State Operations organized to make it happen.

“ I worked with our rep to find the best plane,” she told The Bee. “I could and it was available so I worked fast to secure it for our team! I wanted the best for them.”

The Bulldogs took off to Boise Thursday afternoon and are preparing to face Northern Illinois in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m. Monday from Albertsons Stadium and will be shown on ESPN.

Fresno State will be coached by Tim Skipper for the final time. Matt Entz will take over as the head coach.
