Fresno State adds two players through transfer portal. ‘Coach Entz and staff showed love’
Fresno State officially added two football players on Wednesday afternoon.
Former Reedley College standout Jadon Pearson and Simeon Harris was added to the roster, both becoming the first transfer portal signees under head coach Matt Entz, who was hired on Dec. 4.
“Coach Entz and the staff showed nothing but love to me and my family on the visit,” Harris told The Bee. “I love what Coach Entz is bringing to the program, and the opportunity they are giving me to play at Fresno State.”
Harris said he visited Fresno State on Dec. 16-17.
Pearson and Harris previously played at Utah State.
The Bee detailed Pearson in a story on Tuesday, but Harris already had Fresno State ties back to his younger days.
His mom, Kelly, was a Fresno State cheerleader from 1992-1994. So was his aunt in 1993-1994.
Harris is a defensive back and played three games for Utah State last season before redshirting.
Before arriving at Utah State, Harris played at Colorado in 2022 and played in 11 games with four starts and finished with 20 tackles.
