Sweet cat with ‘soft meows’ keeps getting overlooked at PA shelter. Panda needs a home
A people-loving cat is being highlighted by a Pennsylvania shelter thanks to people constantly overlooking her sweet nature.
Panda, a domestic shorthair cat, is so friendly, that the SPCA in Philadelphia, has no idea why folks keep passing her by.
“Will anyone ever choose Panda?” the shelter asked. “Panda is one of the sweetest cats we have, but still, she has been waiting 7 months for a home.
“Every time someone enters the adoption room, she greets them with soft meows and happy tail flicks, but she is always left disappointed as they leave without her.”
Panda has also been through the adoption event process, but doesn’t have much luck.
“She has been to several offsite adoption events and is always the single remaining cat at the end of the day.”
It’s unknown how old Panda is, but the shelter says she’s an older cat that “every once in awhile needs eye drops.”
Currently, she’s in foster care with other pets.
“I’m very friendly and warm up to people quickly. Right now I’m in foster care with a dog and another cat. They’re o.k. but I don’t like them being too close or bothering me,” her pet profile says.
Her likes include:
Naps
Warming in the sun
Scratchers
Hair ties
Treats
Pets
Low-key animals
