Two juveniles accused of shooting at people near Fresno shopping area, police say
Two minors were taken into custody on suspicion of firing a gun near a shopping area on Wednesday.
Fresno police Lt. Michael Pierce said an officer saw two men shooting toward multiple people near Clovis and Balch avenues — right by a small shopping center — around 4:45 p.m.
Officers established a perimeter and took the two suspects into custody without incident. Officers recovered a gun near the scene.
After taking the suspects into custody, officers learned that they are juveniles.
No one was injured, though multiple vehicles were hit by gunfire.
An investigation is underway.
