Three stabbed during disturbance at Fresno apartment pool, police say

Three people were stabbed early Monday near a pool at an apartment complex in Fresno, police said.

Officers responded at 12:30 a.m. to the 3000 block of West McKinley Avenue near North Marks Avenue after a call came in for a disturbance between 15 people. Officers were told the people involved were breaking windows near a pool at the complex.

At the scene, officers found a man with a stab wound to his upper body and a woman who had been struck in the head with an unknown object. She had a laceration, police said.

A third victim was later found with a stab wound to the wrist, police said.

They were all taken to a local hospital and were expected to be OK.

Officers canvassed the area for surveillance video and talked to witnesses.

No arrests were made and no suspect description was given.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 559-621-7000.
