A man in an electric scooter was injured in a hit-and run collision Sunday afternoon in Fresno.

Officers responded to the scene at 4:30 p.m. at Maple and McKenzie avenues.

Police said the man in the electric scooter had significant injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center.

He was listed in stable condition.

The vehicle fled the area after the collision and the vehicle description is unknown.
