Officers responded to a stabbing in Fresno Saturday night.

Fresno Police Lt. Leslie Williams said officers responded to the 5000 block of West Mission Avenue, near Golden State Boulevard and West Shaw Avenue for a stabbing at 11:09 p.m., and found a man with stab wounds to his upper body.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and the latest condition of his injuries is unknown.

Officers and detectives are working to determine what happened.

Authorities do not have suspect information, Williams said.
