Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run in Fresno, police say. Here’s where victim was found

A pedestrian was killed during the early morning hours Tuesday in a hit-and-run crash by a car in central Fresno, police said.

The 44-year-old man, whose named was not immediately available, was killed around 2:49 a.m. near Maple and Rowell avenues, Sgt. Diana Trueba Vega said.

A description on the vehicle involved was not immediately available, according to police.
