Two killed, two wounded in shooting at Fresno apartment. Suspect at large, police say

UPDATE: Two people are dead and two others including a juvenile are wounded after a shooting Sunday evening at an apartment complex in southwest Fresno, police said.

Just after 6 p.m. officers received a ShotSpotter electronic surveillance system alert of 21 shots fired in the area of Lorena and Clara avenues, according to Lt. Skye Leibee.

Officers arrived and found three men and a boy with gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the apartment complex. Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two were taken to Community Regional Medical Center where they were listed in stable condition. One of the victims taken to the hospital was a juvenile.

Leibee said that one suspect is outstanding but did not give any suspect information or description.

According to Leibee, officers are still investigating what led up to the shooting.

“This appears to be an internal issues amongst four or five people that knew one another,” Leibee said.
