Body found buried in field with leg sticking out. Fresno County detectives investigating

A body was found in a field in Easton on Tuesday afternoon, and Fresno County Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives were investigating the scene.

A worker called around 3:20 p.m. to report finding the partially buried body with a leg sticking out of the ground, sheriff’s office spokesperson Tony Botti said.

The body was found on the north side of West Lincoln Avenue, between South Walnut and South Fruit avenues.

Lincoln was closed Tuesday evening between Walnut and Fruit due to the investigation.
