Fresno police seek help in fatal hit-and-run of bicyclist. Victim is identified

A 37-year-old bicyclist was struck and killed June 20 in southwest Fresno, police said.

The crash happened at 4:30 a.m. at Whitesbridge and Hughes avenues when the man was riding eastbound Whitesbridge in the bicycle lane when he was struck from behind by an eastbound vehicle.

The bicyclist, identified as Amarpreet Singh Sall of Del Rey, was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the suspect’s vehicle is described as a 2013-2017 white Honda Accord.

The vehicle has damage to the right front light assembly, right side mirror and passenger side windshield.
