Fresno police Tuesday appealed to the public for help solving a fatal shooting that took place in December 2017.

John Timothy Graves, 27, was found by a passerby, wounded inside his Mustang near North First Street and East Clinton Avenue just after midnight on Dec. 5.

He died after he was rushed to a hospital. Police say he was unarmed, and do not believe he was involved in criminal activity at the time of his death.

A second car pulled next to Graves’ car and someone fired at him multiple times. Police say witnesses have not been forthcoming.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 559-498-7867 to be eligible for a reward if information leads to an arrest. Refer to Case number 17-79231.
