Man found in convertible with gunshot wound dies

A 27-year-old found with a gunshot wound in central Fresno shortly after midnight died early Tuesday at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.

Police were alerted at 12:10 a.m. of an injured man, John Graves, at First Street and Clinton Avenue, said police Lt. Mark Hudson. Graves was found sitting in his black convertible Ford Mustang suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, where he died.

This is the 53rd homicide in Fresno this year.
