Unsolved case: Fresno man fatally shot multiple times. Police still searching for clues

Fresno police are asking for the public’s help in solving a three-year-old shooting case.

According to Fresno police, an officer back in December 2017 responded at around midnight to a report that a man was injured inside a car near First Street and Clinton Avenue.

The officer found 27-year-old John Timothy Graves inside his black convertible Ford Mustang and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Graves was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Officers obtained information that a vehicle pulled alongside Graves’ vehicle. An unknown occupant of the suspect vehicle then fired multiple times at Graves.

According to police, officers have been trying to investigate the case but witnesses have remained unwilling to come forward.
