Fresno police searching for four suspects in November shooting. Victim later died

Fresno police are searching for four suspects connected to a November shooting that left a 19-year-old in critical condition who later died at the hospital.

The Fresno Police Department in a Monday news release identified the victim as Enrique Vega. On Nov. 27, officers responded to reports of shooting victim at 2212 E. Tyler Ave.

Vega was found with gunshots to his head and neck area, and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition. On Nov. 29 at around 4 p.m., Vega died from his injuries at the hospital.

“This is a senseless act of violence as Vega was shot through his bedroom window while playing an online system,” the release says.

After Vega’s mother heard the shoots, she ran to his bedroom and found him with gunshots. She then called 911.

The suspects are two men and two women, but police are not releasing any other details at this point, including a possible motive.
