A 36-year-old Fresno man has been arrested following a Wednesday-night shooting that closed off a section of McKinley Avenue and left one person dead.

Jesus Capuchin was arrested on Thanksgiving Day and booked into Fresno County Jail on a charge of murder. He had outstanding warrants for spousal abuse and was also charged with those crimes, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim, identified as 30-year-old Raodel Ruvalcaba, was found just off the 3100 block of West McKinley Avenue just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The two men knew each other, the sheriff’s office said, but a motive for the shooting has not been established.
