Officers responded to the Summer Park Apartments at 4:19 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Winery Avenue and found an unresponsive child in a pool.

Police said CPR was administered to the boy after family members dragged the child out. EMS took over and was then taken to the hospital.

The child was pronounced dead.

Fresno Police Lt. Justin Hoagland said there up to 15 juveniles were at the pool with adults nearby.

Foul play is not suspected.
