A Fresno police vehicle was involved in a two-vehicle crash Monday night after a truck allegedly ran a red light at a Fresno intersection.

Fresno Police Lt. Zeb Price said the crash occurred at about 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of Bullard Avenue and First Street.

According to Price, the patrol vehicle was traveling southbound on First Street and proceeding through Bullard Avenue on a green light when it was struck by a truck that ran a red light.

The collision caused major damage to the front bumper of the patrol vehicle.

Neither the officer nor the truck driver was injured.

Alcohol and drugs are not believed to have been factors
