Two injured in two-car crash in Fresno’s Tower District. One car hit a restaurant

Two people were injured after a collision Friday morning at Olive and Palm avenues in central Fresno.

Police reported that the driver of one vehicle suffered a medical emergency while eastbound on Olive around 8 a.m.

The driver collided with a Nissan Altima that was northbound on Palm at a stop light, then drove through a chainlink fence and collided with a restaurant, which was closed at the time.

Both drivers were assessed at the scene for what police believed were non-life threatening injuries.
