Six-vehicle collision disrupts highway traffic in Fresno near Clinton Avenue

The California Highway Patrol was on the scene Wednesday afternoon of a six-vehicle collision on Highway 99 near Clinton Avenue.

The crash happened at 3:30 p.m.

The No. 1 northbound lane was blocked and traffic on the highway going north towards Clinton was moving slowly. It was backed up to Highway 180 as of 4:15 p.m.

Some drivers suffered minor injuries, the CHP said, but it was not immediately clear how many.
