Kerman woman, 18, identified as victim in fatal two-vehicle crash in Fresno County

A Kerman woman killed in a two-vehicle crash in Fresno County late Saturday afternoon has been identified.

Kindra McAfee, 18, was the driver of a Camry who died in the collision on Jensen Avenue just west of Sycamore Avenue.

California Highway Patrol spokesman Mike Salas said the crash happened at 4:20 p.m. McAfee was driving the Camry and going west on Jensen, west of Sycamore, while a man was traveling in a Jeep Grand Cherokee going east on Jensen.

She then overshot her turn at Sycamore Avenue and made a U-turn directly in front of the Jeep on the driver’s side, Salas said. McAfee was pronounced dead at the scene.

The four occupants in the Jeep were taken to Fresno Community Regional Medical Center with minor to moderate injuries. Drugs and alcohol were not a factor, Salas said. All were wearing a seat belts.
