He was shot at Clinton-Blythe gas station. Was it an accident?
Police are investigating a shooting west of Highway 99 Thursday morning to determine whether a friend accidentally fired at the victim.
The shooting took place shortly before noon at a gas station on West Clinton Avenue and North Blythe Avenue.
Spokesman Jeff La Blue said officers are trying to determine whether the friend, who ran north on Blythe after the shooting, pulled the trigger by mistake.
The condition of the victim was not disclosed, but he was talking to emergency workers.
