You can get a summer’s worth of concerts for under $200 — even if a show is sold out

Live Nation has announced already announced a few stellar concert tours for 2020 — Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill anniversary, for one.

The live entertainment company has also unveiled its annual Lawn Pass, for those who want to see as many of the shows as possible without all the hassle of actually buying tickets.

The passes offer unlimited lawn access to the 2020 concert season at one of 29 Live Nation amphitheaters. That includes shows that might otherwise be sold out.

The pass costs $199 and is available starting at 10 a.m. Dec. 11 at lawnpass.livenation.com. Supplies are limited, obviously. T-Mobile customers will get a 24-hour presale starting at 5 a.m. Dec. 10.

In California, passes are being sold for Concord Pavilion in Concord, Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, Toyota Amphitheater in Wheatland and the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater in Chula Vista.

The venues and concerts

The full concert season hasn’t been booked yet, so it’s a roll of the dice as to what performers might stop through. But looking at the venue calendars, Concord Pavilion already has Journey with The Pretenders (May 27), Alanis Morissette (June 5) and The Black Crowes reunion (Sept. 8).

Shoreline has Journey (May 30), Ozzy Osbourne (July 25), Maroon 5 (Aug. 19) and the Doobie Brothers (Sept. 12).

Toyota Amphitheater has Journey (May 29) and the Doobie Brothers (Sept. 10).

North Island Credit Union Amphitheater has Journey (May 24), Maroon 5 (May 30), Ozzy Osbourne (July 29), the Doobie Brothers (Sept. 17), The Black Crowes (Sept. 18) and Kiss with its End of the Road tour (Sept. 27).

There are some restrictions. The passes are good at only one venue and do not work for festivals, pavilion-only events (when lawn seating is not available) and non-Live Nation events.
