Over a span of 11 seasons, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” has become the kind of cult television that creates drag fashion icons and makes club promoters rush to plan watch parties.

It’s also been critically acclaimed and awarded (if you count the Emmys for anything).

The show has even spawned its own tour, which is playing in Asia and Europe this spring and hits North America in September. More specifically, it stops Sept. 19 at Fresno’s Warnors Theatre. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, March 29.

The “Werq the World” tour is a drag-style theatrical outing with “Drag Race” co-host Michelle Visage and past contestants like Aquaria, Asia O’Hara, Detox, Kameron Michaels, Kim Chi, Monét X Change, Naomi Smalls and Violet Chachki.

As a bonus, the tour features four of the queens from the current season of the show. Season 11 is airing now on VH1.

“This is the biggest, most elaborate production we have ever created,” says the show’s producer, Brandon Voss. “The music, sets, fashion, choreography and lighting are all a cosmic feast for the senses. Audiences will be in awe as their favorite queens come together on some incredible numbers.”
