El Super abrió su segunda tienda de comestibles en Fresno a finales junio, introduciendo su supermercado latinoamericano en la parte central de la ciudad.
La tienda está ubicada en el antiguo Sears, justo al norte del Manchester Center, cerca de las avenidas Blackstone y Shields.
El supermercado tiene una panadería que vende pan dulce, una tortillería que prepara tortillas frescas, departamentos de carnes y mariscos, y más, incluido un restaurante de servicio rápido.
Durante años, Fresno ha tenido un El Super en el sureste de Fresno, en Tulare Avenue y First Street.
El nuevo El Super de Manchester empleará a unas 140 personas. El horario habitual es de 7:00 a. m. a 11:00 p.m. todos los días.
Es la tienda número 70 con ese nombre, con sucursales en California, Nuevo México, Nevada, Arizona y Texas.
Su empresa matriz, Chedraui USA, posee más de 380 tiendas de abarrotes, entre ellas los supermercados El Super, Fiesta Mart y Smart & Final.
