It’s a boy! Again! Derek and Heather Carr welcome new son

Oakland Raiders quarterback and former Fresno State standout Derek Carr is celebrating with wife Heather the birth of their second son, Deker Luke Carr.

The 9 pound 3, ounce child was born at 11:22 p.m. Wednesday, Carr said in an Instagram post. The baby was 20.75 inches long.

“Welcome Deker Luke Carr! You have been set apart young man and your Mommy and Daddy love you very much!” the posting said. “You are someone that will have a heart that seeks after Yahweh's own heart! #Welcome2TheSquad.”

The Carrs’ eldest son, Dallas, is 2 years old.

The Carrs, who live in Bakersfield, also posted on their Facebook page with a message that says “Then There were ‘4’.”

A Raiders Nation website also took note of the birth of Deker and welcomed him into the world.
