Jimmy Garoppolo’s first game as the Las Vegas Raiders quarterback was a success.

And his quick thinking by running the ball to seal the Raiders’ 17-16 victory over Denver Broncos was a welcome sight for Raider Nation.

While the game wasn’t pretty, Jimmy G used his feet and got eight yards for a first down to seal the game on Sunday afternoon.

Whether it’s Raiders fans or even 49ers fans, they were pleased about Jimmy G leading Las Vegas to a win.

Earlier in the game, Jimmy G took a big hit in the first quarter by Justin Simmons.

He got up, looking a little woozy, but referee Bill Vinovich told him to get checked for a concussion.

Garoppolo missed two plays before going back in and leading the Raiders to a touchdown when he connected on a 3-yard touchdown to Jakobi Meyers.

The Raiders converted in the red zone.

It was a good sign for the Raiders to score in the red zone and later win the game for a 1-0 start.
