What did Davante Adams say about Derek Carr being benched in Raiders’ final two games?

Derek Carr and Davante Adams teaming up for the first time since 2013 at Fresno State may have come to an end Wednesday.
The Raiders benched Carr and will start Jarrett Stidham in the final two games against the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The news of Carr’s benching meant time for Adams to reflect on coach Josh McDaniels’ decision.
“The reason why I came here in the first place is ... I wouldn’t be here right now if he wasn’t here,” Adams said of Carr.
“I think everybody knows how I feel about him. With that said, it’s the process of how things go. I’m not gonna sit here and go on and on, but obviously I support my guy. We got to finish this season out the best way we can possible with all things considered at this point.”
Adams said he spoke to Carr before practice and will talk to him on Wednesday night.
Las Vegas acquired Adams in a trade with the Green Bay Packers, reuniting the six-time Pro Bowler with Carr.
Adams has 1,290 yards and 12 touchdowns this season.
Carr wasn’t on the practice field following McDaniels’ announcement, but Adams was who was catching passes from Stidham.
Adams had spent several seasons with Aaron Rodgers, but uncertainty with Rodgers’ future in Green Bay made him to decide to join the Raiders in the trade to team up with Carr once again.
Adams wouldn’t speculate on his future as a Raider because he’s focused on the 49ers and the Chiefs.
