Raiders vs. Broncos NFL Week 11 prediction: Preview, odds and injury report
The Las Vegas Raiders hit the road for back-to-back games against the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks.
The lingering question is can the Raiders finally get a win on the road, starting with the Broncos? The Raiders (2-7) are 0-5 on the road and hope to break that with a win against the struggling Broncos (3-6).
Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. Sunday in Denver.
The Raiders, however, have the Broncos’ number as of late, winning the past five games. Can that continue in Denver where the Raiders have won their the past two games at Empower Field at Mile High?
For that to happen, the offense needs to score points, much like they did in a 32-23 in Las Vegas earlier this season.
The defense needs to get after Russell Wilson like they did in the last game when he was sacked three times. The Raiders forced turnovers in the game when Amik Robertson ran back a fumble recovery for a touchdown.
Injury report
The Raiders listed WR Davante Adams (abdomen), LB Denzel Perryman (ribs), T Kolton Miller (shoulder/abdomen) and LB Luke Masterson (ribs) as questionable.
The Broncos ruled out WR Jerry Jeudy (ankle), WR KJ Hamler (hamstring), FB/TE Andrew Beck (hamstring), CB K’Wuan Williams (wrist/elbow/knee) and ILB Jonas Griffith (ankle). OLB Baron Browning (hip), OL Tom Compton (back), T Cameron Fleming (quad), G Graham Glasgow (shoulder) and WR Kendall Hinton (shoulder) are questionable.
Line and over/under
The Raiders are 2.5-point underdogs by FanDuel. The over/under is 41.5.
How to watch on TV
The game will be shown on FOX. Raiders fans in Fresno will not get to see the game, but other regions will with an updated listing.
Quick analysis
Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was emotional following the Raiders’ loss to the Colts last Sunday and said things had to be addressed this week among players in the locker room. ... In the last game, Josh Jacobs ran for 144 yards and two touchdowns. ... What worked the first time, should be tried again. ... Defensively, stops need to be made and turnovers as well as we mentioned earlier. ... Short-field situations will help, too. Will the Raiders finally respond and get a win for the first time in weeks?
Prediction: Raiders 24, Broncos 17
