Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams is expected to play against the Saints on Sunday.

Adams missed two days of practice because of an undisclosed illness, but he’s good to go when the Raiders visit the Saints at 10 a.m. PST Sunday at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

A source had told The Bee that Adams should be fine.

Adams wasn’t the only Raiders player with an illness this week.

Safety Johnathan Abram, defensive ends Clelin Ferrell and Tashawn Bower missed Wednesday’s practice because of the flu.

Abram and Ferrell returned to practice on Thursday and were limited. They were listed as questionable.

Raiders coach Josh McDaniels said a “little bug” was going around in the locker room.

“I hope that you’re going to see him today,” he said. “Hopefully, you’re going to see him out there today. Most of our guys I think are getting on the other side of it. Knock on wood that we don’t end up with another four or five of us getting it, but I think most everybody will be back.”

Adams did in fact returned to practice late Friday morning. His status for the game is questionable.
