Fans react to 0-3 Raiders: Do they already want coach Josh McDaniels to be fired?

After a 24-22 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, some Raiders fans already seem to have had enough of first-year coach Josh McDaniels, who they hold primarily responsible for the team’s 0-3 start.

The loss drops McDaniels’ head coaching record to 11-20. He was 11-17 with the Denver Broncos in 2009 and 2010.

It’s unlikely Raiders owner Mark Davis is ready to pull the trigger on firing McDaniels this early in the season, even after reportedly having a closed-door meeting with him after the game.

Entering the season, expectations were high after a 10-7 record last season included a run to a playoff berth.

But few predicted the team would still be winless at this point, leading critics to demand immediate change. “Fire Josh McDaniels” was trending as fans tweeted out their frustrations.

The Raiders next two games are against the Denver Broncos at Allegiant Stadium, then the Kansas Chiefs on the road before the bye week.
