Adams and Carr were reunited Thursday when the Green Bay Packers traded their star wide receiver to the Las Vegas Raiders.
In 2013, Adams talked about his connection with Carr and the quarterback’s Heisman Trophy credentials.
In the 2013 Mountain West championship, video shows Carr connecting with Adams for a short touchdown.
After the Bulldogs wrapped up the Mountain West title, Adams held the trophy up high and cradled it with Carr by his side.
In 2015, the Raiders hosted the Packers in Oakland and after the game, Carr and Adams met at midfield to exchange well-wishes. Adams spoke highly of his college quarterback in a locker room interview.
