These former Fresno State players are getting a shot in the NFL. See where they are going

Four Fresno State players who didn’t hear their named called in the NFL Draft signed free-agents contracts soon after the last pick was made Saturday.

Running back Josh Hokit signed with the San Francisco 49ers.

Two others are headed to Los Angeles: defensive back Juju Hughes with the Rams and tight end Jared Rice with the Chargers.

Tight end Cam Sutton signed with the Carolina Panthers.

Buchanan standout moves on

Former Buchanan High standout Bryson Young signed with the Atlanta Falcons.

At Oregon, Young totaled 73 tackles and two sacks. He had career-highs last season.

Young and the Bulldogs join three with central San Joaquin Valley ties who were drafted: Jaylon Johnson (Central High, Utah) by Chicago; Mykal Walker (Fresno State) by Atlanta and Netane Muti (Fresno State) by Denver.
