Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr hasn’t thrown a touchdown in the past two games.

He’ll be the first to say it’s “frustrating” to know that the touchdowns haven’t come like it they did earlier in the season.

His touchdown and interception ratio? 10 to 8.

“It’s tough, man, and it’ll humble some guys really quick,” he said Wednesday.

The Raiders (1-8) will visit the Arizona Cardinals (2-7) at 1:05 p.m. Sunday in Glendale, Ariz. Oakland hasn’t won a game since the 45-42 overtime victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 30.

Carr will be without one of his weapons in wide receiver Martavis Bryant, who’s nursing a PCL tear. Another receiver, Jordy Nelson (knee), will be questionable, coach Jon Gruden said.

Carr will look to throw to receivers Seth Roberts, Brandon LaFell, Marcell Ateman and Dwayne Harris.

“We’ve built a little chemistry and he’s someone that I talk to often and I really like him,” Carr said of Ateman. “He’s a good dude and a good kid.”

But despite the frustrating season, the former Fresno State star continues to be among the game’s most respected players.1

Carr was one of 32 players nominated for the Art Rooney Award, which recognizes players around the NFL who exemplify outstanding sportsmanship on the field. He’s been on the list the past three seasons.

“For people to see that in me, that’s really cool,” he said. “I want people to talk about my character and who I am as a man way more than they talk about me as a football player. Hopefully, we get that right, too.”

Said Gruden: “You can’t ask for any more. It’s been disappointing, obviously, the circumstances that he’s had to play through (this) year. We’ve struggled in some areas. I’ve not helped him as much as I had hoped. He’s a special guy. He’s a special person and a great quarterback.”

The NFL announced that the Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers scheduled Sunday Night game on Dec. 9 has been changed to 1:25 p.m.
