The Oakland Raiders quarterback, in his fourth season out of Fresno State, connected on a 2-yard touchdown pass to Michael Crabtree in the third quarter of Sunday night’s game for his 100th career touchdown pass.
The 100th touchdown came in his 60th career game and he becomes the eighth-fastest to reach 100 passing touchdowns among NFL quarterbacks since 1970.
Dan Marino, Kurt Warner, Andrew Luck, Matthew Stafford, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers and Carson Palmer are ahead of Carr in that category.
For franchise history, he became the fourth to throw for at least 100 touchdown passes, joining Rich Gannon (114), Daryle Lamonica (148), and Ken Stabler (150).
Carr added another TD to Crabtree in the fourth quarter, but the Raiders lost to the Cowboys 20-17.
