Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch is taking his training to another level.

Sea level.

In gearing up for training camp, he went to Alameda’s Crown Memorial State Beach.

No, not to enjoy the sunny day. Instead, the man whose power running inspired the nickname “Beast Mode” was working on crazy footwork drills in the sand with trainer Luis Badillo Jr., who some say has the fastest feet in the world.

What made it harder, well maybe for all of us non-elite athletes, is that Lynch wore boots during the workout.

The video also showed Lynch making an over-the-shoulder catch. All in all, pretty impressive for a day at the beach.
