Thursday recap: The Fresno Tacos were too spicy for Round Rock, winning 6-3 for their 10th victory in a row for the club’s longest winning streak of the season. Tyler White remained hot at the plate, going 2 for 3 with two RBI, including a two-out, one-run double in the bottom of the first that opened the scoring. White, who added a one-run single in the fifth, is batting .406 (63-155) with 17 doubles, a triple, five HRs and 47 RBI in 40 games with Triple-A Fresno. He improves to 7-3 with a 4.12 ERA that’s down to 1.64 when pitching at Chukchansi Park. The Express tied it 2-2 in the third via RBI singles from Thomas Field and Nomar Mazara, but the Tacos took over in the fifth with a two-out, five-hit, four-run rally that was highlighted by Jon Singleton’s soaring two-run homer to right. LH Joe Thatcher gave up one run on one hit in the ninth.
