Grizzlies Report for May 24

Grizzlies today: RH Alex White (1-2, 5.68 ERA) will make his sixth start of the season when Fresno hosts the Memphis Redbirds, the Cardinals’ Triple-A affiliate, for the first of four games at 7:05 p.m. LH Marco Gonzales (0-1, 6.35) will start for Memphis.

Sunday rewind: The Grizzlies came from behind again to beat Nashvile 5-3 and win their first series against the Sounds since 2002. Fresno tied the game on Alex Presley’s RBI single in the third before going up on Matt Dominguez’s RBI single that scored Jon Singleton. Singleton added a solo homer in the sixth.

Stat of the Day: Fresno, 41/2 games in front of second-place Sacramento, has won nine of its previous 12 games and has been atop the PCL’s Pacific Northern Division for 13 consecutive days and 32 overall since the season began.
