High school football: Two teams debut in The Fresno Bee rankings. One had decisive win
Bullard High enters The Fresno Bee high school football rankings after a lopsided win on Friday night.
The Knights rolled to a 70-3 victory over Buhach Colony led by Tyler Franklin’s six touchdown passes.
Bullard (2-0) will look to make it three in a row under coach Louis Franklin in a matchup against Hoover at McLane Stadium this week.
Following the matchup against the Patriots, the Knights will be tested in games against ranked teams in Bakersfield, Clovis and Sanger.
Clovis North remains The Bee’s top-ranked team after defeating Redwood 35-6.
No. 2 Clovis East routed No. 16 Kingsburg 55-7.
The top five teams remain the same, but Central moves up to No. 5 and Hanford is No. 6 after a 50-34 victory over No. 9 Sanger.
