Kerman’s Adam Delgado voted the Fresno-area football Player of the Week for semifinals

Adam Delgado of Kerman High was voted The Fresno Bee’s high school football Player of the Week for the semifinals round and eight-man championship.

Delgado received 12,948 votes (67%). He finished ahead of Donnie Munoz of Mendota who had 5,188 votes (27%).

Joshua Kubota of Fresno Christian was third with 641 votes (3%).

Ten players were nominated. Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. Nov. 26.

Recent winners are Donnie Munoz, Mendota; Tytus Khajavi, Clovis West; Peyton Van Worth, Dos Palos; Julien Velez, Kerman; Jordan Colbert, San Joaquin Memorial; Noah Zamora, McLane; Elijah Daley, Lemoore; Jayden Silva, Mendota; Israel Robles, Sanger; Andre Flores, Dos Palos; Noah Tasi, Coalinga; Johnny Cunha, Lemoore; and Earl Riley, Central.
