Mendota’s Donnie Munoz was voted the Fresno-area football Player of the Week for Nov. 9
Donnie Munoz of Mendota High was voted The Fresno Bee’s high school football Player of the Week for Nov. 9.
He had 8,426 votes (51%). Munoz finished ahead of Julien Velez of Kerman who totaled 5,352 votes (32%).
Brody Harlow of Liberty-Madera Ranchos was third with 2,521 votes (15%).
Nineteen players were nominated. Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. Nov. 19.
Recent winners are Tytus Khajavi, Clovis West; Peyton Van Worth, Dos Palos; Julien Velez, Kerman; Jordan Colbert, San Joaquin Memorial; Noah Zamora, McLane; Elijah Daley, Lemoore; Jayden Silva, Mendota; Israel Robles, Sanger; Andre Flores, Dos Palos; Noah Tasi, Coalinga; Johnny Cunha, Lemoore; and Earl Riley, Central.
