Coalinga High quarterback Noah Tasi was voted The Bee’s football Player of the Week for Aug. 31-Sept. 2.

He had 24,220 votes (55%), finishing ahead of San Joaquin Memorial’s Jordan Colbert (17,021 votes, 39%).

Third was Lonnie Franks of Clovis West who had 1.014 votes (2%).

Thirty-two players were nominated. Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. Sept. 10.

Recent winners are Johnny Cunha of Lemoore and Earl Riley of Central.
