Central’s Earl Riley voted The Fresno Bee football Player of the Week for Aug. 24-26

Earl Riley of Central High was voted The Fresno Bee’s football Player of the Week for Aug. 24-26.

Thirty-three players were nominated. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. Sept. 3.

Riley had 13,292 votes (22%).

Israel Robles of Sanger was second with 9,058 votes (15%) while Landon Wright of Clovis West was third with 7,954 votes (13%).

Sierra’s Aaron Irvine picked up 7,610 votes (13%) to finish fourth.
