High school basketball: Big changes in The Bee’s girls rankings with two new teams in
Not much has changed in The Fresno Bee rankings following last week’s results.
Of the results last week, Clovis East lost to No. 3 Clovis North. The Timberwolves drop one two spots to No. 8.
Bullard fell one spot to No. 19 after its loss to No. 4 San Joaquin Memorial.
The middle of the rankings saw change.
Roosevelt lost to Edison 76-73 and fell four sports to No. 16. Tulare Union fell four spots to No. 18 after losing to No. 7 Porterville.
The Tribe dropped several spots because teams below them won and moved up.
No. 25 Bakersfield enters the rankings.
On the girls side, two teams dropped out of the rankings.
They are Buchanan and Sanger. Buchanan lost two games last week to fall to 12-14, meanwhile, Sanger sit at 13-12 following three straight losses, but picked a narrow 39-28 win over Edison in overtime.
